Pedal the Pacific is a sex trafficking advocacy organization raising money and awareness in the fight against domestic sex trafficking of minors. Each summer a group of college women from around the country bike 1,700 miles from Seattle to San Diego, pushing themselves to the limit while capturing the attention and support of the public.
Last year's team raised $258,000!
This year proceeds from their fundraising will go to two awesome organizations. The Refuge Ranch, is a groundbreaking rehabilitative long term residential care facility that recently began receiving minor girls outside of Austin, Texas. The National Center for Missing and Exploited Children leads the fight against abduction, abuse and exploitation -- the major issues that lead to child sex trafficking.
Once again the Pedal the Pacific team is selling "Worth It" necklaces from Dot & Dash to help raise support. The 2018 team selected the phrase to remind subsequent teams that the ride, and the girls they ride for, are worth whatever it takes. Each year the colors of the necklace change.
2020 Team Colors: Brushed Gray (#178), Cream (#2)
We can also create a personalized version of Worth It for you using custom colors or a different chain length. Click here to learn more.
